It's a Girl!

It's a girl...from work, that is. Our friend Teel had her baby girl Addison last week.

This is where I am at 17 weeks. I'm 18 weeks (almost halfway through my 5th month) now. I'm not looking like a pregnant girl yet, but stuff is definitely pushing out and making clothes tighter. I have an ultrasound scheduled for today. It's written on my chart at the OB office "does not want to know sex" but I know I'll be looking!

Kubota

Like our new wheels? Garrett (the guy who owns the land where we live) has been knocking down a lot of bush lately and blazed a bunch of new trails around the property. So he invited Cory to take his Kubota and cruise around...see what's new. Cory was hoping to see some wildlife deep within the brambley brush but at we see were pretty pitcher plants. Maybe next time we'll see the alligators and hogs and coyotes.

Outside Cats

Now that the kittens are bigger, it would be really great for someone to adopt them because they MESS UP YOUR HOUSE (three little shysters will anyway). They're outside now. And since we've experienced a litter of kittens, I think I'm ready to have Cordelia spayed. Thing is, we've got three female kittens than can do triple the damage... Cute though.

Cory snapped a picture of me napping on the couch with the orange kitty.

Kitty Update

Sadly, we gave away the little grey kitten, Oscar, last week. He spent the day on Kate's desk, who affectionately renamed him "George" until the end of the day when he went home with Willie, a fellow co-worker. The next day we learned that Willie's mom renamed him Smokey. So good-bye...Smokey Oscar George! The mama cat Cordelia is still mourning her kitten's disappearance and meows forlornly around the house searching for him.

Three to go! Anyone want an adorable kitten? Anyone?

Saturday at Navarre Beach

Sorry folks (ahem, Melissa!) no pictures of the "baby bump" yet. Right now my midsection just looks chubbier - doesn't have that 'pregnant' look about it yet. But I promise, when I do, I'll put up a picture.

Anyway, this is us as of last Saturday. Not much has changed since then. For you VW fans out there (Tim) here's some fun sand art.

Boogie Boarding at Navarre Beach

Cory and I both had a couple of successful runs with the boogie board last Saturday. It was HOT and HUMID and we absolutely needed to get in the water. Unfortunately, there was a gooey green seaweed in the water as well that swarmed and tickled the legs and found interesting places to go in our bathing attire... Nothing a very thorough shower can't cure!

Baby Facts

Did you know...

That our baby will start kindergarten in 2012, be old enough to drive a car in 2023, finish high school in 2026, and will graduate from college with the class of 2030, give or take a year?

Sounds like we're starting a family in the space age.

New Clothes

Please someone adopt these before we go crazy!

A lot changes in a month! If you go back to the other kitten-in-tub picture you can really see the difference in size.
